Here’s the truth: despite what the bro marketers and coaches coaching coaches to coach coaches gurus tell you, fears around being seen + heard for rebel entrepreneurs can not be fixed with strategy alone.
You can buy the shiny templates, follow all the marketing magic pill strategies, force yourself to post more often in the short term, funnel yourself into exhaustion - but if underneath the surface you don’t yet feel safe to be seen, heard, and richly rewarded just for being you?
Every “strategy” just becomes another cage - another feedback loop that tells you you don’t have what it takes to create the business you desire.
A business fuelled by contribution, a business that unleashes freedom and enables you to share your genius with the world - all without sacrificing your soul, your scruples or your sanity.
If you’re a creative, artistic, rebel, fellow neurodivergent, revolutionary, paradigm-shifting entrepreneur - I know especially for us this cuts extra deep.
Because the same parts of you that carry wild vision, the freedom drive, the desire to contribute also carry the scars of being told you’re “too much” or “not enough” - often at the same time - from years of trying to fit into spaces + places that were never meant to serve you and your wild untamed heart.
The a-ha when I realised I was part of the problem
I used to provide done for you brand, copy and content services to my rebel entrepreneur clients. But it didn’t take me long to work out that: writing “magical + magnetic copy” is meaningless if someone’s voice is still locked in polishing, perfecting, people pleasing ..
and therefore stuck at the set point of diluting, downplaying or dismissing their unique genius.
For years, I was the word witch behind the curtain. I gave strategy-soaked, soul-drenched messaging that would stop scrollers in their tracks.
But I also knew on my bones - if my client’s nervous system wasn’t safe, if her visibility blocks were still running the show - no amount of delicious copy or branding was going to make up for the learned limitation driving the business bus.
She might hit a goal, but then “oh fck can I really do this again” doubt would creep in. She’d get ready to release her new website, and then back away in freeze and silence her message.
And then came the oh fck I cannot unsee this moment..
I realised I was part of the problem.
I was proliferating the very systems of oppression I rail against in my day to day life - setting my clients up to fail saying the external shiny stuff will magically make a difference but
NOT providing the safe places and healing modalities I knew could completely reset their visibility blocks and make truth-talking and claiming their power not only available - but easeful - so they are free to share their message with the world.
Also - I could no longer deny that catching a fish (writing swoonworthy copy and designing delicious heart centred brands) is one thing,
but teaching a rebel entrepreneur to catch their own fish by distilling that skill AND helping them to identity and alchemise any blocks in the way was where the real game-changing juice was.
So I took a slow deep breath .. and pulled the plug.
I stopped doing done-for-you, and I fully stepped into the whole of what I bring to the tables - yes magnetic messaging and storytelling strategy - and ALSO my witch, my healer, my energy worker, my pattern-detector who can smell learned-limitation bullshit from a mile off genius zones too.
That’s when I reclaimed my full power:
Voice + Visibility + Vibration - combining business energetics, visibility block dissolving, mind, body and breath alcehmy and yes - then and only then helping them design their fck yes offers, swoonworthy storytelling infused copy and a fits like a glove business model on TOP of that solid foundation.
The Birth & Evolution of the Anti-Entrepreneurs
This fascination with shifting from learned limitation and conditioning to the liberation and freedom of full self expression and soul-fuelled, sustainable business isn’t a new thing for me.
Back in 2015, I birthed the Anti-Entrepreneurs framework as a way of naming the learned limitation patterns I kept seeing in visionary women business coaching clients. In fact, my second book Making Friends with Fear captured this pattern spotting, fear clearing work a decade ago.
The Making Friends with Fear framework was grounded in all the things I love: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Theory, human behaviour unhooking with EFT, NLP and IFS, mindset + chakra modalities overlaid with 20+ years of business, marketing and communication street cred.
Initially, there were seven Anti-Entrepreneurs.
They were never about labeling anyone as broken. They were about giving language to the sabotaging self-stories humming under the surface, so my clients could finally see:
this isn’t me; this is what I learned to be to feel safe.
Then when I leaned deeper into Human Design - and more specifically True Sidereal Human Design - I had a big arse light bulb moment.
I saw that the patterns I’d been mapping were showing up in the way energy channels through the bodygraph - how it flows, where it gets stuck, and where we’re more vulnerable to external conditioning or influence.
And so, the seven anti entrepreneurs became nine.
The Anti-Entrepreneurs are more than archetypes.
They’re a living-map of how your nervous system + conditioning + design collide to shape your visibility, your voice, your impact - and how to reclaim the wild woman underneath it all. The authentic Self who already knows your deepest desires, your unapologetic voice and your innate genius.
Using this framework for voice + visibility means you don’t just see the fear - you meet and feel your unique Freedom Frequency on its flipside. You see where your unicorn unique wiring wants to roar, where it is designed to retreat, and how to meet your medicine in full presence.
The difference between chasing fixes and coming home is recognising: you were never broken. There is nothing wrong with you.
It makes it crystal clear too that trying to plug and play visibility and marketing strategies on a foundation that does not feel (yet) safe to be seen, heard and richly rewarded was never ever going to work.
The truth is your unicorn unique design deserves both strategy and emotional and energetic capacity building that work WITH you and your unique energetics, flow, values and preferences.
No more trying to shove your out-of-the-box, status-quo challenging, paradigm-shifting self into one size fits all boxes … that never had a chance of capturing YOU!
And let’s face it - boxes you never really wanted to fit in in the first place.
